Construction Update #2 - A First Draft!
Upper Floorplan Draft 6/15/24
The construction team has spent the past few months collaborating with the architect to develop the initial design for our building. You can view and download the draft PDF at the end of this page.
To create this draft, the team consulted with numerous ministry leaders to gather their input. They asked about which areas of the building each ministry uses, how these spaces are used, and any current challenges related to the existing building.

Notable Floor Plan Changes
Those familiar with our current kitchen are aware of its limitations. To address this, our goal is to include a much larger, commercial-grade kitchen in the new building. This upgraded kitchen will be designed to handle larger events and receptions, including weddings, more efficiently.
We also heard from many congregation members about the need for a larger space for new mothers. As a result, the new building plan includes several rooms dedicated to these needs. In this initial draft, you'll find a spacious nursery, a feeding room, a sleeping room, and a children's bathroom with a bath, all located on the left side of the building.
Next, many ministries indicated a need for larger classrooms, particularly for the children’s and Russian school programs, as well as bigger meeting areas. We plan to include more spacious classrooms and meeting rooms in the new building. The aim is to provide enough space for all current ministries and also keep the possibility open for starting our own private school in the future if it aligns with God’s will.
Lastly, we have the main sanctuary. Our current sanctuary has seating for 735 people, but with the new design, we plan to slightly expand it to accommodate 1,146 seats.
